These are the new S6, S6 Avant and S7 Sportback! With diesel engines! And, in particular, an electrified 3-liter V6 TDI with only 190 kg weight, 350HP and 700Nm, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 48-volt electric system. The S6 sedan reaches 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, and the S6 Avant and S7 wagon need 5.1 seconds, with the maximum speed of all three being limited to 250 km/h. All this is combined with an output of about 6.2-6.5 l / 100 km, says Audi, and respectively emissions of 164-171 g / km of carbon dioxide. These values are possible thanks to the MHEV 48-volt system, which has a 10 Ah battery – they are not enough for a full electric start as a hybrid, but can deliver “momentum” power when the engine is off completely without speed decreases for about 40 seconds.
The turbo hole is completely eliminated by a new power-driven compressor that takes care of low-revving power (up to 1,650 rpm) and provides the opportunity to re-use the boost in forcing. The mechanical compressor takes up its role at 1650 rpm. The interior offers a wide choice, depending on your wishes – individual leather seats, sporty lightweight seats, contrasting or soft colors and ultra luxurious equipment to make even the long transitions imperceptible.
All three machines come with sports suspension S Sport, which reduces the height by 10 mm, more powerful brakes (with disc diameters 400 mm front and 350 mm rear, ceramic are optional) and natural quattro double transmission. S6 sedan starts at a price of € 76,500, the S6 Avant wagon can be yours for € 79,000 and the S7 Sportback hatch will cost you € 82,750.
